About Us

Gëzuar is a Community Interest Company that has as its centre of interest Kosovo. It is a non-partisan, independent organisation and as a trading company generates profits to further social aims which include assisting and promoting community, micro-social development and social cohesion in Kosovo.

Our approach is to

• work in partnership to maximise our impact
• encourage people to visit Kosovo and experience firsthand Kosovo hospitality
• be ambitious and continually seek out opportunities and partners to develop projects in Kosovo
• establish events and activities which take place throughout Kosovo and enable participants to see the country and its natural beauty
• promote Kosovo in the UK

2010 - 1013

Our plans for the next three years are ambitious but achievable. The development plan will be formally launched with the Kosovo Connection event in June. This event will showcase tourist opportunities in Kosovo, and introduce visitors to Kosovo/Albanian traditional dress, music and culture and importantly, Gëzuar’s event programme.

After an initial launch and a Kosovo-Life concert, all efforts will be focused on the Tour de Kosovo, the Balkan Trek event, setting up the Gëzuar Foundation and securing sponsorship.

The strategy is based upon year on year managed growth attracting appropriate investors who share our vision for Kosovo.

This strategy should ensure

• the successful launch and establishment of the company and its brands
• the establishment of the Tour de Kosovo and Balkan Trek as regular, widely-recognised events
• a wide range of supporting/sponsorship partners
• direct and indirect employment opportunities in Kosovo and the UK.
